Details
A compact solid teak bench with a striking slatted design that works as a seat, side table or display.
The Slatted Bench in Teak by HKLIVING, known in their range as the "Slatted bench teak, 96x43 cm", is made from solid teak. Built from a run of vertical slats that flow over the top and straight down the sides, it has a light, rhythmic, almost architectural look, with the slats forming both the seat and the legs.
At 96cm long and 43cm deep, with a 38cm seat height, it's a handy size for a hallway, beside a bed or along a wall, and it can hold up to 100kg. It also works alongside a low sofa, such as the HKLIVING Jax sofa, as an extra surface for drinks and books.
Also in the range: Teak, 160cm, Sand, 96cm, Black, 96cm, Hot Pink slim, 160cm, Sand slim, 160cm. See the full HKLIVING slatted bench collection.
Styling Suggestions
- Use it in a hallway under a coat rack for sitting to put on shoes
- Place it beside a low sofa as a side table for books, drinks and a lamp
- Style with a vase and a stack of art books beneath a large painting
- Pair with green, terracotta and cream tones for a warm, relaxed room
Why We Like It
It's so versatile. The teak slats bring warmth and texture, and the compact size means it slots in almost anywhere, as a bench, a side table or a mini display.
