Details
A long, solid teak bench with a striking slatted design and beautiful natural grain.
The Slatted Bench in Teak by HKLIVING, known in their range as the "Slatted bench teak, 160x43cm", is made from solid teak. Built from a run of vertical slats that flow over the top and straight down the sides, it has a light, rhythmic, almost architectural look, with the slats forming both the seat and the legs.
At 160cm long and 43cm deep, with a 45cm seat height, it's generous enough for a hallway where you sit to put on shoes, at the end of a bed or along an empty wall as a place to display books, plants and objects. Because it's natural teak, the grain and colour vary, so every bench is unique.
Also in the range: Teak, 96cm, Sand, 96cm, Black, 96cm, Hot Pink slim, 160cm, Sand slim, 160cm. See the full HKLIVING slatted bench collection.
Styling Suggestions
- Place it in a hallway with a basket underneath for shoes and a mirror above
- Use it at the foot of a bed with a folded throw and a stack of books
- Lean a large print on top along an empty wall for a gallery-style display
- Pair with white walls, linen and black metal for a calm, Scandinavian look
Why We Like It
It's simple, honest and beautifully made. The slatted shape feels light even at 160cm long, and the warm teak only gets better with age.
