Details
A long, solid block of reclaimed teak that works as a low console, TV bench or display plinth.
The Teak Lowboard Block by HKLIVING, known in their range simply as "Teak lowboard block", is a striking piece made from thick, solid reclaimed teak. A deep top sits on two chunky block legs, creating a long, low, architectural shape that shows off the wood's rich grain, warm tones and natural character.
At 200cm long, 30cm deep and 32cm high, it's ideal as a low TV bench or media console, a display plinth for books, plants and objects, or a grounding piece under a large artwork. Because the teak is reclaimed, every piece is unique, with its own variations in grain, colour, knots and marks.
Styling Suggestions
- Place it beneath a large artwork and style with stacked books, a vase and a sculptural object
- Use as a low TV bench with a woven basket underneath for remotes and magazines
- Line it up under a window and fill it with trailing plants
- Pair with linen, wool and stone for a calm, natural, wabi-sabi inspired room
Why We Like It
It's pure, honest material. The reclaimed teak has such a lovely depth and warmth, and the simple block shape lets the wood do all the talking. It's the kind of piece that makes a room feel grounded and considered.
