Details
A light object with serious presence, standing a full 160cm tall.
The Glassfibre Floor Lamp in Soft Green 160cm by HKLIVING is the largest piece in the glassfibre lighting range. Its bold, stacked silhouette is made from lightweight glassfibre with a translucent finish, so it reads as a sculpture by day and softens into a warm, diffused glow once switched on.
The soft green sits closer to a warm olive yellow in person, somewhere between sage, mustard and straw, and it shifts noticeably with the light around it. Placed in a corner or beside a sofa, it fills a room with atmosphere rather than harsh, direct light.
Styling Suggestions
- Stand it in a corner or beside a sofa or armchair as a sculptural ambient light
- Pair with warm timber, raw plaster and textiles in ochre, rust or terracotta
- Use as the one bold piece in a neutral scheme, where its colour and scale can lead
- Group with the smaller HKLIVING Glassfibre Table Lamps for a considered, layered lighting set-up
Why We Like It
It is unusual, architectural and quietly playful all at once. At 160cm it has the scale of a piece of furniture, yet the translucent glassfibre keeps it feeling light, and the way it glows from within in the evening makes it one of the most striking lamps in the HKLIVING range.
