Details
Looking for a lamp shade with genuine retro movement? The Cylinder Lamp Shade in Swirl Print by HKLIVING is crafted from linen and printed with gently curving stripes in red, black and warm yellow across an off-white ground, giving it a fluid, 70s-inspired energy.
This tall cylinder shade is designed to be combined with our cone floor lamp bases, creating contrasts in depth, colour and atmosphere that build into a genuinely elegant silhouette once paired together. The linen construction gives the print a soft, textured finish rather than a flat, glossy one, so the colours feel warm even before the lamp is switched on.
As with all HKLIVING lighting, this shade is designed for mix-and-match styling, so you can pair it with the base that best suits your room, whether that's a sleek black column or a warmer, more tactile finish.
Styling Suggestions
- Pair with a black or dark cone floor lamp base to let the swirling stripes stand out
- Position beside a sofa, armchair or in a reading corner where its height and pattern can be fully appreciated
- Combine with other HKLIVING lamp shades and bases for a bold, layered, mix-and-match lighting scheme
Why We Like It
We love the sense of movement in this print. The swirling stripes give the shade a rhythm that a plain shade simply can't match, and the warm red, black and yellow palette brings genuine retro character to a floor lamp without feeling like a costume piece.
