Counterpoint was designed in collaboration between Ole and Christine Kit Flensted, and Aase Flensted named the mobile:

Counterpoint is a musical term referencing the relationship between various independent, harmonious musical lines, creating texture, complexity, and individuality in a song. This intricate mobile's various components work similarly, with independent and interdependent components working to creating a beautiful, constantly moving work of art. Hangs approximately 26" tall by 13" wide. Made of stainless steel and wood.
