Sip Straws is a series of reusable straws made in borosilicate glass for use with hot or cold drinks. Functional and decorative, the straws add colour to the table and elevate mealtimes or drinking experiences. The straws are offered in a variety of different colours and designs, and come in multipacks with a convenient cleaning brush.

At North Home (INHEMSK Retail Ltd) we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.

If something isn’t quite right, the following policy explains how returns and refunds work.

Standard Returns

You have 15 days from the date of delivery to notify us if you would like to return an item.

Once your return has been authorised, you then have a further 14 days to send the item back.

Returned items must be:

unused
in their original packaging
with tags and labels intact
in a fully resalable condition

Unless the item is faulty, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund.

Refunds are typically processed within 3 working days of receiving the returned item.
If you return your entire order, we will refund the item price plus the cheapest standard delivery cost originally paid.
If you return part of an order, the original shipping cost is not refunded.

Free Delivery Orders

If your original order qualified for free delivery, but returning items brings the order value below the free delivery threshold, the standard delivery fee (£4.95) will be deducted from your refund.

Large & Heavy Item Delivery

Delivery charges for large, heavy, or specialist courier deliveries are non-refundable.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing:

Please include:

photographs of the product
photographs of the packaging
your order number

We will review the issue and arrange a replacement, repair, or refund where appropriate, including return shipping where necessary.

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

Made-to-Order & Personalised Items

Made-to-order or personalised items are produced specifically for you and cannot be returned unless faulty. Please see alternative Made to Order Ts& Cs

If a fault is identified, North Home (INHEMSK Retail Ltd) reserves the right to repair or replace the item first before accepting a return or issuing a refund.

Commercial Use Returns

Products sold by North Home (INHEMSK Retail Ltd) are intended for private use.

If items are purchased and used for:

photoshoots
set styling
influencer or promotional content
commercial or professional purposes

a restocking fee of 25% may be applied to any return.

If returned items show signs of use, additional deductions may be made from the refund.

If you require items for professional use, please contact us before purchase so we can advise accordingly.

Free Delivery

We offer free UK delivery on qualifying orders.

Some larger, heavier, or fragile items may require a fixed delivery charge. If this applies, it will be clearly shown at checkout before payment.

Dispatch Times

Orders placed before 1pm (Monday to Friday) are usually dispatched the same day.

Orders placed:

after 1pm on Friday
over the weekend
or during Bank Holidays

will normally be dispatched on the next working day.

Standard Delivery

Most orders are sent using Royal Mail 48 Hour Tracked.

While delivery is often quicker, please allow up to 4 working days for your order to arrive.

During busy periods such as Bank Holidays or the Christmas season, delivery times may be slightly longer.

Express Delivery

If you need your order sooner, we offer the following upgrade options:

Royal Mail 24 Hour Tracked
Available at checkout for a small additional fee. Delivery is usually the next working day after dispatch.

Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day (by 1pm)
Available for £14.95. This service guarantees delivery by 1pm the next working day after dispatch.

Standard Orders

Standard delivery applies to in-stock items only.

Larger furniture items, fragile products, or made-to-order pieces may have separate delivery arrangements or timeframes, which will always be clearly stated on the product page.

Out of Stock Items

If an item becomes unavailable or does not meet our quality standards during packing, we will contact you promptly with available options, which may include:

a replacement item
an updated delivery estimate
or a full refund

Made-to-Order Items

Made-to-order and personalised items often require longer production and delivery times.

Estimated delivery timelines for these items will be shown on the relevant product page.

Handmade Product Variations

Many products available at North Home (INHEMSK Retail Ltd) are handmade or produced in small batches.

Because of this, variations in colour, glaze, texture, or finish may occur compared to website images. These variations are part of the character of handmade products and are not considered faults.
